A cheap alternative to a real chainsaw, for small limbs.

This is one of those tools that seems gimmicky at first, but actually works once you get the hang of it. It�s essentially a handheld chainsaw chain with handles, and you cut by pulling it back and forth. It takes a minute to find a rhythm, especially since it only really bites in one direction, but once you do, it cuts through small limbs fairly well. The handles are comfortable and have a bit of give, which helps during use.

Perfect for taking down shrubbery!

This tool makes really quick work out of cutting them down at ground level, it's so much easier than any other method I've tried. Just loop it around the multiple-stem base and start sawing. It takes around five minutes per bush but that's because I'm no longer a spring chicken. The handles are really nice, no blisters even if I forget to wear gloves. And I really like that it comes in a case to keep everything clean, together and dry. As always though, it's a good idea to clean the cutter and re-oil before putting it away as this is a chainsaw chain. Workmanship and materials are very good.

Hand kit for cutting limbs with a chainsaw blade

This is an interesting concept, and works surprisingly well. It's really what it looks like. It's a chainsaw blade, with two handles, and you pull back and forth and saw with it manually. The kit comes with some wax and a brush to clean it all up before you store it again.

Decent Saw Kit, Too Heavy for Backpacking

This is a simple little kit with most of what you need to be successful in cutting some reasonably sized trees, whether you're truck camping or working around the house. It includes wax in a lip-balm style container which can be used to polish it up when you're done or about to start.

Nice little portable manual chainsaw.

The chain is a very nice quality chainsaw chain that has opposing cutters, so it cuts both directions as it moves back and forth. It comes with a file to sharpen the cutting edges and some wax to lubricate the chain. The handles are good quality and easy to grip. Feels solid.

�Pocket Chainsaw Cutting Solution Kit-36"

This is a really handy tool for those that require something with a little more cutting power than say a pair of garden shears, but don't want a real chain saw. I have a bunch of crazy rose bushes with long thorns and while they're not very difficult to trim back, trying to use a garden shears can get quite painful. The 36" is perfect to allow me enough room so that my forearms are getting cut up by the thorns.

This is a very cool Pocket Chainsaw Cutting Solution Kit which includes a 23" Portable Folding Hand Saw with detachable handles, cleaning cloth and brush, and lubricant. This saw cuts amazingly well. it makes quick work of cutting down small trees. I find this kit to be a very good value at the current price.

Takes practice but performed amazingly well

This is the most versatile fun thing I've had in a while. It worked like a charm on the first 4-6" tree I came across. It wasn't easy to get started because I had to learn with it. But like a handsaw if the angle is right and the arms ready to go? It is smooth cutting after that. Great value for a quality product that gets the job done quickly and without the need for gas, oil, or electric cords and no batteries. Easy to carry and transport. Will fit right in a glove box or backpack
